On the second day, we got up bright and early, enjoyed the B&B breakfast, then walked up the hill to the stables for a horseback riding tour of the mountainside. Afterwards we went back to our room, cleaned up and went to the hot springs for the afternoon…
Our Glenwood Springs vacation – Day One
Shasta and I took a little mini vacation up to Glenwood Springs over Labor Day weekend. Thought I would post some of the photos of our trip!
On the first day we decided to do a popular Colorado hike, the Hanging Lake trail. The hike is tough… steep, with lots of big loose rocks to scramble over. A little over a mile long, too. But very very worth it once you get to the top! We spent the first day of our vacation driving the 3 hrs it takes to reach the trailhead, then hiking up to the lake where we ate a picnic lunch, then hiking back down to the car so we could drive into Glenwood SpringsĀ and check into our little B&B…
